Hola CHICsters,

Sorry for the delayed posting but my life has been super busy. It started off with a spur of the moment trip back to my hometown Brooklyn,NY for a surprise birthday party for my mom....thennnnn it was my birthday, WooHoo, and yesterday was my daughter's Bday so I literally had nooooo rest the last couple weeks or time to blog like I'd really want to. BUTTTTT....all of that's done, so now it's back to business! 

Yesterday I had tons of running around to do for my daughter's birthday,plus it was a little on the warm side so I opted to be as comfortable as possible.

I paired this Royal Blue tank from Old Navy, with a pair of tribal pants, and my

knock around Steve Madden bow flip flops that everybody bought when they first came out. 

A lightweight colorful pant is on trend for this summer & can either be worn with a solid colored top, or another mixed print IF you know how to mix your prints properly.

If not then ummmm...stick to solids LOL.

....an easy summer look for you to pull off 

And most importantly, a very happy 7 year old :-)

It's no secret how fond I am of denim. It just seems to go with EVERYTHING  (in my opinion) LOL. You can dress it up and down depending on the occasion or how you're feeling at the moment. I particularly like to pair it with a bright skirt, or a denim pencil skirt like the popular look Celebrity Rihanna wore, or even a hot pair of leather shorts and some heels to spice up a night look.
